Captain of the Queen's Aerospace Design Team creating drones to compete in international competitions
Leading a multidisciplinary team of 10+ to develop flight-ready avionics systems for two fixed-wing VTOLs and a quadcopter. I oversee full systems integration—including component selection, procurement, and budget management—while architecting flight performance reviews using sensor data to optimize system-level reliability.
Currently focused on the ICUAS 2026 competition simulation, working with Linux, GitHub, Docker, and ROS2 to develop autonomous indoor fire mitigation, equipment deployment, and reconnaissance capabilities.
Contributed to the design of carbon fiber fixed-wing and quadcopter drones for wildfire hotspot detection and water transport. I designed and integrated power distribution hardware, including a 12S 2P battery system with quick-swapping capabilities, and utilized LTSpice and Altium for PCB schematics.
